BGC Bike & Climb Seneca Rocks

We plan to spend three days biking the C&O Canal Trail with trad gear and all. We will camp along the way at the following spots:

Harpers Ferry

Sky Meadows

Seneca Rocks

The goal is to bike from Maryland then attempt a multpitch climb to the summit via Old Mans Route!

BGC – Chavis Branch Library, Greensboro, NC

Nevertheless She Persisted discussion/panel/presentation at Chavis Library. The Chavis branch is located in a predominantly African American community, and it would be so beneficial to the families, students, and all people in the area to hear from you and see what you’re doing. We have a large-screen (80″) smart board that could be used to show climbing clips, but I think the most important element would be you climbers, your stories, experiences, drive. Climbing is anything but “easy,” but you persist and it makes you better and stronger. The people in this community can benefit from seeing the product of such persistence, hearing it from your own mouths, and perhaps considering what that drive might look like if they wore it.

BGC Leader Retreat, Denver, CO

This is the first time all of the leaders are together and will meet! We are excited to meet and climb together to chat about goals and future directions!
